Bentonite clay is a very fine mineral clay, renowned for its exceptional absorption and adsorption capabilities. Bentonite clay is used as a thickener, emulsion stabilizer and suspending agent for opaque products. It hydrates quickly and easily in water and gives structure to the aqueous phase of your creams or liquid products, it is particularly well suited to pigmented makeup such as BB creams, tinted moisturizers. Bentonite clay is naturally tinted, it is a highly absorbent natural hydrated aluminum silicate which is composed of minerals like iron, silica and aluminum, it is usually formed from volcanic ash aged over time.

Precautions for using Argilot™ superfine Bentonite clay

- Montmorillonite is unbeatable at binding toxins. It helps the skin breathe better.

This is a difference in grain size.
- Ultra-fine or ultra-ventilated clay has grains of approximately 20 microns. Ideal for masks, toothpastes and pastes.
