An ultra-ventilated clay for delicate care

Thanks to natural drying and fine sieving, this ultra-ventilated white clay is extremely fine. Its light and airy texture allows for a smooth and even application to the skin. It is ideal for cosmetic treatments, helping to clarify the complexion, soothe redness and irritation, and absorb excess sebum without drying the skin. It is also used to strengthen fine hair by adding volume and lightness.

Ideal for sensitive and delicate skin, exposed to irritations, pollution. This clay helps, thanks to its purifying power, eliminate impurities. Suitable for delicate, fragile and easily irritable scalps. Practical for light mixtures, rapid absorption rate, creamy and soft appearance. Helps repair, soften and matte the complexion of shiny and/or oily skin. The word kaolin is derived from the name of the Chinese city of Kao-Ling (or Gaoling, high ridge), located in the Jiangxi province of southeast China, where the written description of porcelain is found. The word kaolin is now used as a commercial and geological term for the white clay rock that is mainly composed of minerals of the Kaolin group (khandite). The most common constituent is the mineral kaolinite.

Terms and technique:

Montmorillonite, Illite, Kaolin… differences
- Montmorillonite is unbeatable at binding toxins. It helps the skin breathe better.
- Illite supports the absorption of sebum, perspiration, etc.
- Kaolinite, very gentle, takes care of sensitive skin.

Absorbents and Adsorbents… differences…
Clay in general is known for its absorbent and adsorbent properties.
- On the surface, clay absorbs liquids, grease, or gases like a blotting paper. It is therefore very effective as a shampoo for oily hair, a beauty mask, and even for deodorizing.
- Clay also works in depth, because it adsorbs particles thanks to its ion exchange properties: clay attracts toxins and exchanges them for its minerals. Thus, it purifies the skin and contributes to its radiance and tone.

Fine, ventilated, ultra-ventilated, super-fine… differences…
This is a difference in grain size.
- Ultra-fine or ultra-ventilated clay has grains of approximately 20 microns. Ideal for masks, toothpastes and pastes.
- Surfine, Superfine or ventilated clay has grains of approximately 60/75 microns. For masks and pastes
- Fine clay, ground or crushed (coarse powder and/or pieces), generally for poultices.

Oui.
