Terms and technique:

Montmorillonite, Illite, Kaolin… differences
- Montmorillonite is unbeatable in binding toxins. It helps the skin breathe better.
- Illite supports the absorption of sebum, perspiration…
- Kaolinite, very gently, takes care of sensitive skin.

Absorbents and Adsorbents… differences…
Clay in general is recognized for its both absorbent and adsorbent properties.
- On the surface, clay absorbs liquids, fat or gases like a blotter. Thus, it is very effective as a shampoo for oily hair, beauty mask and even to deodorize.
- Clay also works in depth, because it adsorbs particles thanks to its ion exchange properties: clay attracts toxins and exchanges them for its minerals. Thus, it purifies the skin and contributes to its radiance and tone.

Fine, ventilated, ultra-ventilated, superfine… differences…
This is a difference in grain size.
- Ultra fine or Ultra-ventilated clay has grains of approximately 20 microns. Ideal for masks, toothpastes and pastes.
- Surfine, Superfine or ventilated clay has grains of approximately 60/75 microns. For masks and pastes
- Fine clay, ground or crushed (coarse powder and/or pieces), generally for poultices.

Oui.
