Marjoram hydrosol with thujanol: Aromatic gentleness for the skin, the ENT system, and emotional balance

OFLORALE's Marjoram hydrosol with thujanol ( Origanum majorana ct thujanol ) is obtained by gentle distillation of the aerial parts of the plant. Finer and better tolerated than other, more phenolic chemotypes (such as carvacrol or thymol), this hydrosol is particularly valued for its soothing, rebalancing, and purifying properties, both for the skin and the nervous system.

A sweet and functional marjoram

Marjoram with thujanol is an interesting aromatic variety because it combines good purifying properties with excellent tolerability. Its hydrosol retains this characteristic: it is fresh, slightly spicy, yet remains gentle on the skin and suitable for daily external use. It's a comforting hydrosol for periods of tension, nervousness, or seasonal fatigue.

Marjoram with thujanol: balance and natural protection

Thanks to the presence of thujanol and other oxygenated monoterpenes, this hydrosol helps to purify the skin, support the respiratory system (when used externally as an aromatherapy treatment), and calm the nervous system. It is particularly recommended during periods of mental overload, emotional distress, or disturbed sleep.

Production method:

Our distillation method follows the rules of distillation to obtain hydrosols and not essential oils, the aim being to obtain superior quality hydrosols in no way equivalent to the residues of plant distillation to obtain essential oil.
Note that we work with fresh plants, dried plants or extracts with an equivalence ratio of 1:1 (1 liter of water for the equivalent of 1 kg of fresh plants)

Note that most hydrosols and/or floral waters available commercially result from the distillation residues of essential oils and are therefore much poorer in active ingredients than our hydrosols, because our goal is not to deplete the plant in order to extract the maximum amount of oil by using ratios much higher than 1:1.

Availability and lead times
Because our product range is extensive, we manage some products in stock and others on order.
- Product in stock: Fast delivery time of 3 to 4 days on average
- Made-to-order product: Average delivery time 7 to 15 days
We remind you that we are the producers of our hydrosols.

Quality and origin
We raise awareness among our producers about the importance of natural, economical agriculture that respects the laws of nature and the plant world. We prioritize the development of products from natural agriculture.

Conventional Agriculture
Formerly known as traditional agriculture, this often refers to producers who respect nature and have a long-standing knowledge of traditional farming practices. These professionals frequently work using old-fashioned methods and are sometimes located in countries where certification is unavailable. We can only use the general term "conventional agriculture" because we are not permitted to describe plants as grown without synthetic chemicals if the cultivation is not controlled.

Derived from wild plants
Products bearing this designation come from plants that often exist only in the wild.

*Natural Origin is our in-house label, guaranteeing that all certified products have already obtained a recognized certification. However, we have chosen not to rely on national labels, as we believe they often hold an unfair monopoly. For us, these certifications do not accurately reflect the realities of the markets surrounding these products. Furthermore, labeling criteria vary from one country to another, creating imbalances between producers and distorting the notion of equality. With Natural Origin , we aim to offer a fairer and more consistent alternative.

Un hydrolat périmé peut présenter une odeur aigre, un aspect trouble ou des résidus. Il est alors préférable de ne plus l’utiliser, même si la DDM n’est pas dépassée.
