Traditional use and dosage

  • Relaxing infusion: 1 teaspoon per cup of hot water. Steep for 5 to 10 minutes, then strain. 1 to 3 cups/day.
  • Floral bath: 1 to 2 handfuls in a muslin cloth, infused in the hot bath to soothe the body and mind.
  • Aromatic cushion: Dried flowers slipped into a fabric sachet to scent linen or promote peaceful sleep.

Precautions, side effects and contraindications

  • Moderate use recommended during pregnancy.
  • Avoid in case of known allergy to plants of the Lamiaceae family.
  • Store away from air, light and humidity to preserve aromas.

History and origin
