Traditional use and dosage

  • Infusion: 1 teaspoon for 250 ml of simmering water, infuse for 5 to 10 minutes. Take after meals.
  • Oily macerate: macerate the dried leaves in a vegetable oil for 3 to 4 weeks (cosmetic or well-being use).
  • Room fragrance: Gently boil the leaves to release their fragrance into a room.

Precautions, side effects and contraindications

  • In high doses, can be stimulating or unbalancing (moderate use recommended).
  • Not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice (strong aromatic power).
  • Avoid prolonged unsupervised use for internal use.

History and use
