Refined cocoa, vegetable butter – HBV Oils and Butters
Deodorized, neutral and stable cocoa butter, for fragrance-free sensory care
HBV refined cocoa butter is obtained by cold pressing Theobroma cacao beans, followed by a gentle deodorization process, without solvents or chemical additives. This process produces a clear, odorless butter with a homogeneous texture, while retaining most of its fatty acids (stearic, palmitic, oleic) and natural antioxidants.
This butter is ideal for formulations that require olfactory neutrality or that incorporate essential oils, perfumes, or plant extracts. It is ideal for products for sensitive skin, minimalist skincare, or zero-waste cosmetics (solid bars, soaps, sticks).

- Storage: Store at room temperature (15–20°C), away from light and moisture. Close tightly after use.
Precautions for use
For cosmetic use only. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. Melts at approximately 34°C.
Directions for use
- Melt in a bain-marie to incorporate it into your preparations (creams, balms, soaps)
- Perfect as a base for scented or aromatic treatments (masks, butters, candles)
- Apply neat to dry areas of the body or hands
- Use in hair care to condition and protect dry hair
Examples of use
- Nourishing neutral balm: 50% refined cocoa butter, 30% macadamia oil, 20% vegetable wax
- Solid facial treatment: Refined cocoa butter + argan oil + natural fragrance
- Gentle Massage Candle: Cocoa Butter + Shea Butter + Grapeseed Oil
