💡 This butter is a natural preparation combining raw (unrefined) shea butter with a powder or extract of Borututu root (Cochlospermum angolense), known for its traditional uses in West Africa. It has a naturally yellow-orange hue due to this root.

Yellow Shea Butter with Borututu – HBV Oils and Butters

Traditional African butter for nourishing, protective and revitalizing care

Resulting from ancestral know-how, yellow shea butter with Borututu is a 100% natural product, obtained by incorporating the dried root of Borututu ( Cochlospermum angolense ) into raw shea ( Vitellaria paradoxa ). This mixture gives the butter an intense yellow color and a slightly smoky woody fragrance. It is renowned for its protective, nourishing and restorative qualities for damaged or exposed skin.
