Deodorized cocoa butter (HBV) is a vegetable butter obtained from mechanically pressed cocoa beans, then purified to remove their natural aroma. This process preserves its firm texture and richness in fatty acids, while providing perfect neutrality for perfumed or technical cosmetic preparations.

Thanks to its stable composition and high melting point, deodorized cocoa butter is particularly popular in the manufacture of balms, sticks, solid care products, and night creams. It forms a protective barrier on the skin, without occlusive effects, and improves the texture of formulas by giving them consistency and softness.

Directions for use

• To be melted in a bain-marie before incorporation into the formulation
• Blends very well with vegetable oils and natural waxes
• Use as a balm, stick, soap or firm-textured cream

• Neutral body balm: 30% deodorized cocoa butter, 40% macadamia oil, 20% shea butter, 10% beeswax
• Lip balm: 45% deodorized cocoa butter, 25% vegetable oil, 20% wax, 10% active ingredients or flavorings
