Ucuuba Vegetable Oil (Virola Surinamensis) - HBV Oils and Butters

Ucuuba oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the fruit of Virola Surinamensis , an Amazonian tree. Traditionally used by indigenous communities for its medicinal properties, this vegetable oil is now highly prized in cosmetics for its restorative and protective qualities. It comes in the form of a solid butter at room temperature, melting on contact with the skin.

Highly concentrated in myristic, lauric, and palmitic fatty acids, as well as triterpenes and cinnamic acids, Ucuuba oil is a choice ingredient for regenerating dry, damaged, and mature skin.
