Aromatic profile

Lychee for exotic sweetness, rose for the elegant floral register, hibiscus for a light pink color and a hint of acidity, lemon peel to awaken the whole, pink peppercorns for the peppery-floral relief, and vanilla to bind it all together.

History & approach

Rosa Litchi was conceived as a tropical tea room drink: delicate, floral, slightly fruity, but not too sweet. The idea is to obtain an elegant aromatic base that can be used as an iced drink, a hot preparation, or a syrup, without artificial flavorings.

Usage tips

  • Cold brew : 12–24 h in chilled water, gently filter.
  • Homemade syrup : simmer water + sugar, add Rosa Litchi, cover for 20–30 min, filter, store in the refrigerator.
  • Pink iced tea : infuse in warm white or green tea, filter and chill.
  • Homemade soda : 2–3 tbsp of syrup + sparkling water + edible rose petal.
  • Creations : non-alcoholic cocktails, fruity floral waters, granitas, brunch drinks.

Recipe ideas

  • Rosy Fizz : 3 cl of Rosa Litchi syrup + 12 cl of sparkling water + lemon zest.
  • Lychee Blossom Iced Tea : iced white tea + 1 tsp of infusion, filter, ice.
  • Peppercorn Flower : 2 cl of syrup + 10 cl of sparkling water + 1 or 2 crushed pink peppercorns.
  • Floral water : cold infusion for 12 hours, serve very chilled.

Precautions for use & storage

Use clean, dry utensils. Filter finely to maintain the clarity of the beverage. Store the dry mixture away from light, heat, and moisture. After preparing a syrup or sweetened beverage, refrigerate and consume within 2–3 weeks.
