An iconic conifer for vitality and calm

Balsam fir, a symbol of strength and purity, exudes a fresh, balsamic scent reminiscent of forest air. Its hydrosol, gentler than essential oil, is suitable for daily use to bring a breath of fresh air to the skin and soothe the mind after intense days.

Balsam Fir: Natural Energy, Clarity, and Protection

Rich in monoterpenes and resinous compounds, this hydrosol helps purify the skin, invigorate the complexion, and create an olfactory environment conducive to deep breathing (external use). It is particularly appreciated for supporting concentration while promoting a sense of grounding and tranquility.

Production method:

Our distillation method follows the rules of distillation to obtain hydrolats and not essential oils, the aim being to obtain superior quality hydrolats in no way equivalent to the residues of distillation of plants to obtain essential oil.
Please note that we work with fresh, dried plants or extracts with an equivalence ratio of 1:1 (1 liter of water for an equivalent of 1 kg of fresh plants)

Please note that most of the hydrosols and/or floral waters available commercially are the result of distillation residues of essential oils, therefore much poorer in active ingredients than our hydrosols, because our aim is not to impoverish the plant in order to extract a maximum of oil from it by using ratios much higher than 1:1.

Quality and origin
We raise awareness among our producers about the importance of ECONOMICAL natural agriculture in accordance with the laws of Nature and respect for the plant world. We prioritize the development of products from natural agriculture.

Conventional Agriculture
Formerly known as: Traditional Agriculture. These are often producers who respect nature and have a long history of knowledge about the art of traditional farming. These professionals often work "the old-fashioned way" and are sometimes located in countries where certification does not exist. We can only refer to the general term "Conventional Agriculture" because we are not allowed to refer to plants as being grown without synthetic chemicals if the cultivation is not controlled.

From wild plants
Products subject to this designation come from plants that often exist only in the wild.

*Natural Origin is our internal label, guaranteeing that all certified products have already obtained a recognized certification. However, we have chosen not to rely on national labels, as we believe they often exercise an unfair monopoly. For us, these certifications do not faithfully reflect the reality of the markets that govern these products. In addition, labeling criteria vary from one country to another, creating imbalances between producers and distorting the notion of equality. With Natural Origin , we aim to offer a fairer and more consistent alternative.

Un hydrolat périmé peut présenter une odeur aigre, un aspect trouble ou des résidus. Il est alors préférable de ne plus l’utiliser, même si la DDM n’est pas dépassée.
