Rosa canina – whole dried seeds

Produced by naturally sorting the berries, the seeds are carefully cleaned and then dried at low temperatures to preserve their integrity. They can be infused for a long time, ground into powder, or macerated in vegetable oils to extract their fat-soluble ingredients. They are also found in certain ancestral recipes for rustic ointments and balms.

Description

Small, elongated seeds, light brown to golden, rough, with a hard texture. Neutral to slightly vegetal taste when brewed, with no acidity.

  • Home use: grinding for plant-based scrub or integration into homemade exfoliating soaps.

  • Liste B : plantes présumées toxiques. Elles sont interdites à la vente libre, même en usage externe ou cosmétique, sauf autorisation dérogatoire ou usage strictement encadré.
