Traditional use and dosage

• Soaking: 1 tablespoon in a glass of cold water for 3 to 12 hours. Consume as is or filtered.
• Short infusion: 1 tablespoon for 250 ml of warm water. Infuse for 10 minutes, covered. Drink the mucilaginous herbal tea.
• Culinary use: Incorporated into breads, mueslis, porridges, with caution to avoid excess insoluble fiber.

Precautions, side effects and contraindications

• Drink plenty of water during the treatment to avoid any blockage.
• Avoid in cases of intestinal obstruction, digestive stenosis or sensitive diverticula.
• Do not consume at the same time as medication (risk of interaction due to barrier effect).
• Not recommended for children < 6 years old without proper supervision.
