Virgin tucuma butter is made from the pulp of the Astrocaryum tucuma fruit, a palm tree endemic to the Amazon. This naturally orange butter is known for its richness in saturated (lauric, myristic) and unsaturated (oleic) fatty acids, as well as carotenoids with antioxidant properties.

Unrefined and undeodorized, it retains its characteristic color and a pronounced plant aroma. Highly valued in cosmetics for its film-forming properties without occlusive effect, it deeply nourishes the skin, protects the hair, strengthens the hair fiber and promotes a radiant complexion.

Precautions for use

For cosmetic use only. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes.

Directions for use

• Melt in a bain-marie for easier application
• Incorporate into homemade creams or butters at a rate of 5 to 30%
• Use neat on dry or irritated areas
• In an oil bath on dry hair before shampooing

• Dry skin radiance balm: 40% tucuma, 30% shea butter, 30% macadamia oil
• Tropical hair mask: 50% tucuma, 30% coconut oil, 20% aloe vera
• Antioxidant lip balm: 30% tucuma, 30% beeswax, 40% argan oil
