Bacuri, virgin vegetable butter – HBV Oils and Butters

Rare butter from the Amazon rainforest, rich in trace elements and essential fatty acids

Virgin bacuri butter is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the Platonia insignis fruit, a tree native to northern Brazil. This dense butter, with its natural dark brown hue, is known for its high content of tripalmitin, iron, magnesium and trace elements. It is highly penetrating and quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving a greasy film.

It is renowned for its restorative, antioxidant, and regulating properties, particularly for oily, combination, mature, or blemish-prone skin. It is also excellent in hair care to revitalize dry or dull hair. Its melting texture and distinctive color make it a choice ingredient in natural formulas with a strong identity.
