Kokum HBV virgin butter is obtained by cold mechanical pressing of Garcinia indica seeds, without refining or processing. Highly prized in cosmetics for its stability to oxidation and its richness in stearic and oleic fatty acids, it is also a key ingredient in restorative care and solid cosmetic formulations.

This plant-based butter has a hard consistency at room temperature and melts upon contact with the skin without leaving a greasy film. It is ideal for combination, sensitive, or reactive skin, as well as areas prone to atopy. Its emollient action promotes skin repair and maintains the skin's natural moisture.

Precautions for use

For external use only. Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.

Directions for use

• Melt gently in a bain-marie to incorporate into formulas
• Mix with more fluid vegetable oils to soften textures
• Can be used neat on the skin for very dry areas or in targeted massage

Examples of use

• Nourishing lip balm: 40% kokum butter, 30% coconut oil, 20% candelilla wax, 10% vanilla macerate
• Solid deodorant: 30% kokum butter, 25% baking soda, 25% cornstarch, 20% hazelnut oil
